Welcome to Girlguiding Bristol and South Gloucestershire
Thank you for your interest in joining the adult leaders of Girlguiding Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We are all
volunteers doing our best to help the girls and young women achieve their potential.
It is an exciting time in Girlguiding as we move towards our Centenary in 2010. We need to build on our past, enjoy our present and look towards the future of what is the biggest youth organisation for girls.
This booklet has been prepared to help new volunteers with some of the things you will want to know as you start out as a unit helper or Guider. It should be used with the Welcome to Girlguiding UK booklet.
In our County we have 2 events each year where all adults can meet together to share ideas, make new friends and
acknowledge our achievements. We look forward to meeting you at these or at one of the trainings organised by the County Team.
