Senior Section co-ordinator

The Senior Section is by far the most diverse Guiding section incorporating everyone aged 14 -26 : Rangers, Young Leaders, Young Guiders, Informers, Duke of Edinburgh participants, SSAGO members (student Scout and Guide Organisation), and even some Commissioners and Advisers.

It’s my job to make sure they’re all happy and getting all the opportunities they want! Supported by the Ranger Adviser, Young Leader Adviser, D of E Adviser and Queen’s Guide Adviser, I try to make sure every one knows what awards and programmes are available to them, make sure the trainings available meet their needs, and provide a wide range of camps and other opportunities, often joining in with regional, national or international activities.

I am happy to be contacted if anyone has any suggestions, wants to become part of the Senior Section or needs Senior Section advice. My contact details are in the directory but I work antisocial hours so email or an answerphone message is the best way to get hold of me.
