Are you 10 to 14? Welcome to Guides!

Being a Guide is all about belonging to a group, learning new skills, making new friends and helping others. Each Guide is encouraged to achieve her personal goals through a progressive programme with the opportunity to work for a wide variety of badges. This allows the girl to mature and develop at her own pace. It doesn’t matter where you’re from, how good you are at school or what you look like.

Guides work together in Patrols. A Patrol plans its own activities with the support of the Guide Guiders so that each Guide learns to share in decisions that affect herself and others in the Patrol. Guides take part in a wide range of adventures including camps and holidays within the UK and abroad.

Each Guide chooses the uniform she wants to wear from the range of options available in the Guide uniform collection. The specially designed Guide clothes are stylish, practical, economical and appealing to today’s girls.

You can be a Guide whether you have been a Brownie or not.

The exciting new Guide programme has become more in tune with the modern girls lifestyle. We don’t just earn badges and go camping; it’s all about being a girl in today’s world.

So, why don’t you take up the challenge and Go For It! by joining your local Guide unit.
