Girlguiding today aims to:
- provide a safe, girl only environment
- be appropriate for girls today
- uphold diversity and equality
- encourage our young women and give them a voice
In Guiding today girls have the opportunity to develop leadership and management skills, gaining a sense of empowerment, learning to take the initiative and making lasting friendships at home and abroad.
Guiding is about team building, caring for others, adventure and having fun. Guiding offers some thing for everyone, from exploring the outdoors, crafts to protecting the environment.
Bristol and South Gloucestershire has over 6,000 members. Units usually meet weekly during the school term. If you would like to join please contact us.
