Welcome to Bristol and South Gloucestershire County Ranger Guides!
There are currently 16 Ranger Guide Units throughout the county, details of which can be obtained from Division Commissioners
What are Rangers?
For those of you new to this site, a Ranger is a Senior Section member who belongs to a Ranger Unit. The unit is made up of girls aged between 14 and 26 who meet together to plan and carry out activities from any or all of the schemes open to the Senior Section eg Look Wider/Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
Look Wider
This is a scheme which is followed by many Ranger Units. It is a framework, not a specific syllabus that you have to adhere to. It is a personal challenge; you decide what you want to do. It's about identifying your goals and realising them.
